The Department of Life Sciences Core Education at UCLA is dedicated to broadening the life science horizons for a new generation of students from diverse backgrounds. We are a department of educators that teach Introductory Biology and Life Science Mathematics to the 13 different Life Science Majors at UCLA. 100% Time Position LECTURER Available: Fall 2022, Winter 2023, Spring 2023
Courses to teach:
LIFE SCIENCE 7A: Cell and Molecular Biology: Introduction to basic principles of cell structure and cell biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
LIFE SCIENCE 7C: Physiology and Human Biology: Organization of cells into tissues and organs, and principles of physiology of organ systems. Introduction to human genetics and genomics.
Qualifications: Qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in Human Biology, Physiology, or a relevant Biological discipline; demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching at the university level.
