SABER aims to support two-year college faculty in engaging with biology education research (BER) by providing professional and social support that fosters long-term involvement in the BER community. Our objectives are:
1. Deepen two-year faculty interest in BER
2. Sustain a two-year faculty community in BER
To achieve these goals, funding will support attendance at the SABER Annual Meeting and the implementation of a year-long faculty learning community (FLC) focused on BER topics relevant to two-year colleges. By attending the meeting, faculty will deepen their interest in BER. By participating in the FLC, they will gain knowledge, peer connections, and ongoing support to sustain that interest.
