Receive special member rates for conference and events PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTMembers have opportunities to receive or provide mentorship in teaching biology and/or conducting biology education research through mentoring groups such as the DBER-SiT and PEER committees and the SABER Buddies program. Members can join Special Interest Groups; communities for people with similar interests which provide opportunities to learn, collaborate, exchange ideas, and network. Important note: If SABER membership dues would pose a financial hardship for you, we do have a reduced-fee membership option ($10, see rules and terms) available for one year only. You will see this membership level available when you apply for membership, and you will enter justification for your reduced-fee need in the application.
