The Natural Sciences Department at Oregon Institute of Technology seeks applicants for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, to start in September 2020. The successful candidate will teach courses such as these: Human Cadaver Dissection, Pathophysiology, and Human Anatomy & Physiology laboratories for students in Allied Health, Pre-Nursing, and Pre-Professional Health Sciences programs.
The primary focus of this position is on excellent teaching, with appropriate undergraduate research and/or scholarly activity also expected.
A Doctoral Degree and clinical experience are preferred, although a Master's Degree in a health-related field is the minimum qualification. The candidate must have at least one year of part-time teaching experience, with preference given to candidates having at least 3 years of teaching experience, or one year of full-time teaching experience. Experience in healthcare, kinesiology or exercise physiology is also a plus.
