The postdoctoral scholar will join the vibrant Biology Education Research Group at the University of Georgia, as well as a larger community of discipline-based education researchers across STEM. Preference will be given to applicants with the following characteristics: strong written and oral communication skills; experience with in-depth qualitative content analyses; experience with quantitative research methods, including regression, multilevel modeling, etc.; experience with management and organization of large projects; and a strong background in biology content.

This position is full-time with a flexible start date as early as August 2019 with the possibility of renewal for multiple years. Candidates should electronically submit a 1-page cover letter indicating their interest in and qualifications for the position, a curriculum vitae, a 1-page summary of biology education research interests, and contact information for three professional references to tandrews@uga.edu. The salary is $50,000 with associated benefits. Review of applications will begin April 29 and continue until the position is filled. Please contact Tessa Andrews (tandrews@uga.edu) with any questions. The University of Georgia is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
