    Position Summary: The Biological Sciences (BioSci) Program is seeking two fixed term instructors to join the BioSci Program teaching team. The successful candidates will join a diverse group of educators and discipline-based education researchers dedicated to providing high-quality undergraduate biology education. The initial appointment will be for one year (9 months) with expectation of continuing renewal based on satisfactory performance. Responsibilities will include leading students in inquiry-based research projects in either an introductory cell and molecular biology laboratory course or an introductory organismal laboratory course designed for life-science majors. 

     

    Qualifications: A Ph.D. in the biological sciences or related fields is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching undergraduate laboratories and research experience.
