Education Career Pathways

Presented by the Discipline-Based Education Research Scholars-In-Training Committee 

This event will highlight different education-focused career pathways available to those with a natural sciences and/or DBER background, including teaching/research faculty positions, community outreach-focused roles, directors at centers for teaching & learning, and instructional designers. Although the emphasis will be on biology, we also have panelists from the chemistry and physics education communities. We’ll also discuss which roles do and do not require a Masters and/or PhD.

The first 45 minutes of the event will consist of a structured panel discussion, followed by 45 minutes of small-group discussion in breakout rooms. If you are interested in attending the event, please RSVP.
