About the Position  

The Integrated Science program at Fulbright is seeking scholars and educators who care deeply about developing students as engaged learners and citizens, working in a transdisciplinary environment, and participating in a start-up university environment. The successful candidate will develop and teach introductory, exploratory and advanced courses within their field of study and in line with the Integrated Science major curriculum at Fulbright. The candidate will also contribute to the ongoing curriculum development endeavors and research programs at Fulbright to ensure that the Integrated Science major follows institutional and international standards. 

Qualifications 

• A Ph.D. in fields related to Biology and/or Physics. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply, given the degree is conferred by August (other areas of STEM are also encouraged to apply. However, priority will be given to candidates with a Biology or Physics background). 

• Demonstrated potential for student-centered course design and instruction 

• Demonstrated interest and potential in curriculum and program development  

• Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative teaching environment.  

• Ability to involve undergraduates in research projects.
