The UCLA Life Sciences Division is seeking applicants for two new positions that will collaborate with instructors teaching in our Life Sciences Core Education Department (LS Core). The LS Core provides a world-class education in introductory Biology, Mathematics, and Statistics for over 15 different academic programs. We are committed to utilizing evidence-based teaching and research to eliminate educational attainment disparities and broaden life science horizons for a new generation of students from diverse backgrounds. One of the new positions will support our Biology courses and the other will support our Mathematics and Statistics Courses in order to assess their effectiveness, coordinate the use of undergraduate learning assistants, and develop new programs to enhance students learning.  Candidates will have a M.S. or Ph.D. in an appropriate field.
