The successful candidate will teach primarily at the introductory level, but will also have opportunities to participate in courses at other levels of our curriculum.

The successful candidate will have a dedicated office and access to shared research and teaching facilities that include a greenhouse, vivarium, 15 climate-controlled growth chambers, and a 415-acre Ecological Preserve with a well-equipped field station.

A Ph.D. in the biological sciences is required, as is prior teaching experience at the introductory level.  All applications should be submitted online at https://employment.vassar.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/frameset/Frameset.jsp?time=1593715047066  Candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, concise statement on teaching interests and philosophy, concise statement on diversity and inclusive pedagogy, and graduate school transcript(s). Additionally, please submit at least three letters of recommendation to the above site.
