Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies (www.caryinstitute.org) seeks a talented researcher/educator to help lead two summer undergraduate research programs and to investigate student learning in the programs. This is a full-time position for someone with a doctorate in science education or one of the natural sciences. Initial appointment will be for one year, with continuation contingent upon funding. The Cary Institute’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program is entering its 32nd year and the Urban Water Innovation Network’s Undergraduate Research Program is entering its 4th year. Both provide a richness of short- and long-term data about student outcomes from intensive research experiences and translational or transdisciplinary science. The position posting is attached, or can be found here.
Thank you for your help in letting suitable candidates know about this exciting opportunity in undergraduate education.
