Carleton’s new Integrated Science Center, which will integrate three buildings and house programming in Archaeology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Geology, Neuroscience, Physics and Astronomy, and Psychology will open in September 2019 and additional building renovations will be completed by September 2020. To support our goal of leveraging this new space to build community and foster collaboration across STEM fields including Mathematics and Statistics and with other disciplines, we seek to hire a STEM Program Manager. Before renovations are complete, the Program Manager will help departments and facilities coordinate the transition to new spaces.

The continuing responsibilities of the STEM Program Manager will be to implement STEM-wide programs and events, act as liaison with other Carleton departments and offices on behalf of the STEM departments, manage the use of the shared programmatic spaces in the new facility, and support the work of the STEM Director and STEM Board in cross-disciplinary initiatives.

This is full-time, year-round staff position. Start Date: Preferably August 1, 2019

A complete application will include completing essential application information, a resume, and a cover letter that addresses your relevant experience and interest in the position as well as how you would contribute to a college community that embraces a diversity of people and perspectives as one of its core values.

Review of applications begins immediately and continues until the hire is complete. Applications received by April 15, 2019 will receive preferred consideration.

Carleton College is a AA/EEO employer. We are committed to developing our staff to better reflect the diversity of our student body and American society. Members of underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
