    Heidelberg University has an immediate need for a student-centered educator to fill the position of Assistant Professor of Biology (Genetics, Cellular, and Molecular Biology).     Responsibilities

    The Assistant Professor of Biology (Genetics, Cellular, and Molecular Biology) provides instruction and advising to undergraduate students. This faculty appointment consists of a fulltime teaching load to include lecture and laboratory courses in Genetics, Cell and Molecular.

    Biology, Introductory Biology, and potential for upper-level courses related to candidate’s areas of expertise. In addition, faculty are expected to hold office hours, advise majors, mentor undergraduate research, and engage in committee work and continued professional development. This is a three-year position beginning August 2019 with the possibility of multiple year extensions. The Assistant Professor of Biology reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Biological and Environmental Science, in the School of Natural Sciences and Allied Health Sciences.
