    Located in Staten Island and overlooking the Manhattan skyline, Wagner College is a private, non-sectarian 80% residential college of 1800 traditional-aged undergraduates and 300 graduate students in selected professional programs.     The Department of Biological Sciences seeks a Tenure-track Assistant Professor for the 2023 2024 academic year. Candidates must have expertise in clinical microbiology. The successful candidate must have a completed Ph.D. by the start of the position. The individual will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in microbiology. Research dealing with clinically significant organisms that involve undergraduates and microbiology graduate students is expected. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at a liberal arts college.
