    The Center for Science, Mathematics, and Computer Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) is seeking a Research Assistant Professor with expertise in STEM education. This position is anticipated to emphasize research at the undergraduate, graduate, and PK-12 levels. Candidates will work on multiple collaborative research teams and will also engage in STEM education outreach activities.

     

    The successful candidate must have a Ph.D., Ed.D., or Ed.S. in education, STEM education, a STEM discipline, or a closely related field, or anticipate receiving their degree in the next six months; a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion; and demonstrated potential for excellence in STEM education research.

     

    Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests:

    1.       Include undergraduate, graduate, or PK-12 STEM education with attention to equity (integrated STEM or a particular STEM discipline).

    2.       Reflect engagement in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

    3.       Have practical applications for STEM education outreach.

    4.       Reflect experience working on collaborative, possibly interdisciplinary, research teams.

    5.       Will complement and extend those of the discipline-based education researchers on campus.
