    The Maine Center for Research in STEM Education (the RiSE Center) at the University of Maine is hiring two positions:

    STEM Education Research Associate: to support data collection and analysis, report writing, and dissemination of findings for project and program evaluations under the direction of the RiSE Center’s Research and Evaluation Coordinator.Full time, soft money, salary of $50,000-55,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications, with great benefits. Flexibility for remote work 1-2 days a week; open to negotiating part time work (32h/week) with salary prorated accordingly.     RiSE Center Faculty and Student Success Programs Coordinator:  This position involves 1) Managing the day-to-day operations of RiSE Center's Faculty Course Modification Incentive Grant and Maine Learning Assistant program (FIG-MLA), including recruitment, selection, professional learning, placement, and evaluation of learning assistants and faculty grant recipients and 2) Serving as a resource to faculty, staff and administrators at University of Maine System campuses where Learning Assistant programs are being piloted via the Gateways to Success initiative. Full time, soft money, salary of $55,000 to $60,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience, with great benefits. This position provides flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely.
