    We are excited to advertise this position for Teaching Faculty in Biocore, University of Wisconsin- Madison's integrative honors biology program.  

    The Teaching Faculty position is a 12-month, renewable (non-tenure-track) teaching appointment. The Teaching Faculty will apply their highest level of expertise in biological science, research, and pedagogy to student learning through a multi-semester laboratory curriculum that emphasizes the process of science, research, group collaboration, and science communication (written and oral). The Teaching Faculty will lead instructional activities including classroom instruction, curriculum development, hiring, training and supervision of graduate teaching assistants, and curriculum assessment in alignment with Biocore program learning outcomes. The Teaching Faculty will teach three lab courses per year (4-5 lab sections per semester). This position will have flexible opportunities to contribute to program assessment, community outreach, education research, and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives.
