Postdoctoral fellowships (five per year) open to Ph.D. holders in any field. Applicants who will increase diversity in our institution and those who are committed to working toward equity and inclusion are strongly encouraged to apply.

This fellowship program is designed to provide fellows with professional mentoring and research training under the guidance of established faculty. Fellows will conduct research and/or creative work in their chosen field of study, in collaboration with one or more Syracuse University faculty members. Fellows also will teach one course per year to gain teaching expertise, in the area of their scholarly expertise. In addition to teaching and research, fellows will have the opportunity to mentor undergraduate and graduate students.

Ph.D. holders in the Life Sciences or Science Education who are interested in gaining experience in Discipline-Based Education Research in Biology and in teaching biology at the undergraduate level should specify interest in working in the Wiles lab in the Department of Biology. Contact Jason Wiles at jwiles01@syr.edu for more information.

Applications are still being accepted and are currently being reviewed. Position listing and application: https://www.sujobopps.com/postings/85692
