SABER hosts two meetings each year, the national meeting at the University of Minnesota each summer, and a west coast regional meeting in southern California each winter.
This page also highlight non-SABER events of potential interest to SABER members.
SABER Annual Meeting
The annual SABER meeting his historically taken place for three days in July at the University of Minnesota and attracts almost 500 (and growing) biology education researchers from North America and beyond, with over 100 talks, two poster sessions, three invited speakers, and a day of useful workshops before the meeting. In 2020, we held our first virtual conference over four Fridays in July. Our 2021 meeting will be held virtually over four Fridays in July 2021.
Past SABER Meetings Archive
Visit this page if you would like to reference what has been presented at past SABER meetings. The page currently houses archives from the 2019 and 2020 meeting, with archives of older meetings forthcoming.
Each winter there is a two day regional SABER meeting in the southwest U.S. called SABER West. SABER West primarily attracts biology education researchers from the western half of North America. Find more about our last SABER West (2020) here. Check back for information about SABER West 2021.
