Conferences & Events

SABER hosts two meetings each year, the national meeting at the University of Minnesota each summer, and a west coast regional meeting in southern California each winter.

This page also highlight non-SABER events of potential interest to SABER members.

SABER Annual Meeting

The annual SABER meeting takes place for three days in July at the University of Minnesota and attracts almost 300 (and growing) biology education researchers from North America and beyond, with over 100 talks, two poster sessions, three invited speakers, and a day of useful workshops before the meeting. Find more about this year’s annual meeting here.

Each winter there is a two day regional SABER meeting in the southwest U.S. called SABER West. SABER West primarily attracts biology education researchers from the western half of North America. Find more about this year’s SABER West here.
